Job Title: Senior Media Buyer (Meta & Google)
Location: Remote
Reports To: Growth / Strategy Lead
Work Shift: US time zone overlap preferred, with PST or EST flexibility
Working Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, with ability to check in on nights/weekends when needed

A growth consultancy for DTC ecommerce brands. We embed Growth Operators inside our clients' businesses to own growth across acquisition, retention, and conversion, all tied back to the brand's financial goals. We're a lean, AI-first team that moves fast and holds a high bar.

We invest in people who want to grow. If you want to keep getting sharper, learn the business beyond your channel, and build a career in ecommerce growth, this is the place for it. You'll work alongside experienced operators who will show you how growth decisions actually get made, and the people who do well here are curious, take ownership, and are better every quarter than they were the last.

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Media Buyer (Meta & Google) to manage and optimize paid acquisition across multiple client accounts, with deep specialization in Meta Ads and strong working experience in Google Ads.

Media buying should be your core strength. You should be highly capable inside Meta Ads Manager, comfortable managing Google Ads, comfortable managing accounts independently, and able to execute accurately without repeated supervision.

At the same time, this role goes beyond simply being told which campaigns to build.

We are looking for someone who can analyze an account, identify which ads and strategies are working or underperforming, research competitors and market activity, and turn those findings into clear recommendations.

You should also be highly proficient with AI as part of your day-to-day workflow, using it to accelerate research, analysis, reporting, and problem-solving rather than treating it as an occasional productivity tool.

Meta is your number one expertise and is non-negotiable. Google is secondary but still required: you should have hands-on experience and be comfortable managing Google accounts on your own. Experience with TikTok Ads, AppLovin, or other paid acquisition platforms is valuable, but we do not expect equal expertise across every channel.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, responsive, curious, and self-directed. We want someone who can enter as a strong media buyer and continue developing toward broader growth and strategy ownership over time.

Key Responsibilities

Meta & Google Media Buying & Campaign Management

  • Own day-to-day media buying execution across multiple client accounts, with primary focus on Meta Ads and secondary ownership of Google Ads

  • Build, launch, manage, and optimize campaigns, ad sets, and ads

  • Maintain clean and scalable account structures

  • Implement consistent naming conventions across campaigns, ad sets, and creative

  • Manage budgets and reallocate spend based on performance

  • Monitor campaign performance and make optimization decisions independently

  • Identify performance drops, creative fatigue, inefficient spend, and account issues early

  • Ensure campaigns are built and managed accurately across multiple client accounts

  • Manage Google Ads across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and YouTube, including brand vs. non-brand structure, keyword and search term management, negative keywords, and product feed health

Account Analysis & Strategic Support

  • Analyze client accounts to understand what is working, what is underperforming, and why

  • Identify meaningful trends, bottlenecks, and growth opportunities

  • Review creative performance and identify winning and losing ads

  • Turn performance findings into clear recommendations and next steps

  • Research competitor advertising, market activity, and emerging strategies

  • Develop proposals or recommendations based on account analysis and research

  • Support broader growth and strategy conversations with informed media buying insights

  • Learn and use our growth hub (training provided) to analyze Meta performance in the context of the overall business, not just in-platform metrics

Performance Optimization

  • Monitor and optimize toward relevant performance metrics including:
    • ROAS

    • NC ROAS

  • Identify patterns across winning and losing creative

  • Provide actionable feedback to strategists and creative teams

  • Use AI to quickly synthesize large amounts of campaign or market information

  • Build efficient workflows that reduce time spent on repetitive analytical tasks

  • Continuously improve how AI is incorporated into day-to-day media buying work

  • Stay current with emerging AI capabilities relevant to paid media and growth

Platform & Industry Research

  • Monitor relevant DTC and paid-media industry conversations

  • Follow official Meta and Google documentation alongside practitioner and community insights

  • Identify emerging strategies worth testing

  • Continuously develop knowledge of paid media and ecommerce acquisition

  • Proactively learn new platforms and approaches as the paid media landscape evolves

Multi-Account Management

  • Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously

  • Maintain strong organization across campaigns, reporting, documentation, and priorities

  • Coordinate with strategists, creative teams, and other execution support

  • Balance competing priorities across different clients

  • Maintain timely communication with internal leadership

  • Operate independently while escalating issues when appropriate

Quality Control & Accuracy

  • Conduct thorough QA before campaigns and changes go live

  • Verify campaign structures, budgets, creative, URLs, naming conventions, and settings

  • Follow established SOPs and quality-control procedures

  • Avoid repeated execution errors by incorporating feedback into future work

  • Maintain accuracy even when managing repetitive or high-volume account tasks

Communication & Responsiveness

  • Maintain consistent communication during agreed working hours

  • Respond quickly in Slack and don't let messages sit

  • Provide clear status updates on active priorities

  • Flag blockers, questions, or missing information promptly

  • Maintain reliable availability and accountability in a remote environment

Working Style

  • Speed through AI: Everyone at BA uses AI every day. You use it to run research, draft analysis, build reports, and pressure-test ideas before they reach your lead. Used well, it's how you produce two to three times the output.

  • No AI slop: We use AI to speed up our work, but we don't accept AI slop. Communication should be clear, concise, and simple. When you research keywords, competitor ads, or an account, come back with a short, clear recommendation, not a 10-page research doc. The Growth Operator or client should be able to read it in a few minutes and know what you recommend and why.

  • No ego about tasks: You do what the business needs, including things that feel small. If the designer is out and an ad needs a headline added in Canva to launch, you do it.

  • Communication: You respond quickly in Slack and don't let messages sit. If you're stuck, you say so. If something is taking longer than expected, you flag it and give a new timeline. You never go silent.

  • Ownership: You don't wait for a to-do list. When you see something that needs doing, you do it, flag it, or ask. Work gets done right the first time, without anyone having to follow up.

  • Learning fast: You pick up new tools on your own using documentation, YouTube, and AI. When you don't know how to do something, you figure it out instead of waiting for a walkthrough.

This Role Isn't a Fit If You

  • Need repeated reminders on the same task

  • Bring ego to tasks that need to get done

  • Can't pick up new platforms or tools without a walkthrough

  • Communicate slowly or inconsistently in Slack

  • Hand in first-draft work when a final was expected

  • Don't use AI as part of your workflow

  • Hand in long, unedited AI output instead of a clear recommendation

  • Wait to be told what to do at every step
